Coalition Sues for Inadequate Representation of Criminal Defendants
The Michigan Coalition of Justice has filed a law suit against the State of Michigan claiming that the state "has utterly failed to provide or fund adequate indigent public defense." Scroll down to Links and click on The Michigan Citizen.
Legal Aid and Defender is a public law firm serving clients in the Metro Detroit area. Founded in 1909, the firm represents clients who cannot afford representation in all civil matters and represents indigent defendants in criminal matters in both state and federal courts.
